The female osprey, Miss Ally, arrived on March 3, 2013. Their 2012 nest was lost during a violent winter storm, so they will have to choose a new nest site. In a way, the nest being lost is fitting given the story behind the naming of this nest....

Nest established in 2010 on my dock. Three eggs 1st year - no chicks. Three eggs 2nd year - 2 hatched - 1 fledged and was banded by Libby Mojica from W&M - believe it was a female. Will post pictures
