Nesting Diaries
No individual on nest. Possibly one fledgling in nearby tree and one adult in another tree. Could belong to another nest as a few are in close proximity. Various calling between individuals heard.
One adult female sat in nest, calling intermittently. Various osprey were flying around area as there a multiple nests, unsure if one belongs to this nest.
One adult stood on perch next to nesting platform. Inside of nest was obscured by trash and sticks, could have another adult laying inside.

Female observed sitting in the nest, male flying overhead, calling heard from both individuals.
No individuals on nest, one adult female on perch across from nest. Distant calling heard.
Two juveniles stood on nest.
One adult stood on perch next to nesting platform. Three individuals flying overhead, some juveniles. Calling heard from group. May have some association with nearby nest 5.
Two adults and two chicks observed. Chicks were in nest, one adult was stood on nest and the other was stood on nearby perch. Both were calling every so often.
One adult female sat on nest, occasionally calling and responding back to another adult flying NW overhead of the nest (also calling). One chick spotted popping it's head out from the nest.

One adult, presumably male, laying in the nest. One adult female perched on nearby post with food in her talons.
One adults laying in nest with a flat back and calling occasionally. The male adult flew over head then into a nearby tree causing the individual in the nest, presumably female, to call again.

One adult laying in nest with a flat back. Head turning and alert. Distant calling heard then another adult flew in with a fish and landed in a nearby tree. Individual in nest continued to call.
Two adults observed. Female laying in nest, male standing on nest then flying around and collecting branches.
Female was laying in the nest and calling. The male flew in and landed on the nest, calling as well. The female then hopped onto the back on the male and she then flew off. The male remained in the nest. A turkey vulture then flew by the area and the male started to call in alarm before the vulture flew off.
No individuals are observed or noted in the area of this nest.
One juvenile is observed, no adults are seen in the vicinity.
Male and female are present. Male is persistent with calling, though there do not appear to be any rivals nearby. Female appears to be picking at food, and feeding a chick. Calls from nearby nest seem to upset the perched male overtime, making him agitated.
One individual in the nest appearing to be calling to male. One hatchling has been observed.

Individual present in the nest, two individuals are observed nearby. Female returns to nest with partially eaten fish.

One large chick is present and very wary in the nest. Male and female parents are not evident in or around the area at first. male flies in with very large catch, and chick calls frantically. Male does not bring the catch to the nest, and eats on the perch pole briefly before bringing his catch to the chick.
Two individuals are seen from a distance, one is in the nest and one is on the perch pole. There is one presumed chick
Female is seen flying in with catch upon approach. She lands on the nearby perch pole but does not eat, because the male, who was in the nest, has spotted the observer and begins to defensively call and soar above the observer's head. No chicks are observed.
Male was perched above the bird blind and flies off upon approach. There is a female in the nest with one visible chick. Male chases a sea gull that flies near the nest for less than one minute. He circles back and lands in a tree out of sight. There is an unidentified individual perched in a nearby tree. After the sea gull excitement female turns her attention to the observer and flies out of the nest and circles overhead, making high pitched defensive calls.
Female's repeated calls can be heard upon approach. Takes off and soars above bird blind, calling during the duration of her flight. She seems to be disturbed by observer's presence. Highly defensive behavior leads the observer to suspect there are newly hatched chicks in the nest. No male is spotted in the area
Male and female are present in the nest, silent. Male flies down to the feeding pole with part of a catch it seems
Male perches on V perch. Female flies off upon arrival. Male seems to call after her and she returns after a short time. Female soars and stoops past the nest more than 10 passes and lands on feeding perch. Female perches for less than a minute and flies off again and does not return. Male remains in the nest for some time and flies out in the same direction of the female.
Male flies off suddenly; it is possible that he noticed the observer as an approach was made. Female calls after him for about a minute with no response. She makes a five note call in relatively frequent succession. Male returns to the area a few minutes later and calls to the female who seems to return the vocalization in the same pattern. There are two un-nested individuals that are seen in the area that the male is perched near.
Confirmed female sits on perch calling. Male silent at first in the nest begins to join in calling and the two carry on for around 3 minutes

This nest has 3 nestlings this year! The fishing must be good. All look healthy, still a lot of growing to do :)
Saw two nestlings this morning! Nest looks healthy. Keep checking for updates :)
Mama was home today and it looked like she was feeding her young one(s). Haven't seen them yet, but we are keeping our eyes open!
