Nesting Diaries
Very large and well maintained nest. Female osprey perched on fence next to nesting site, eating a fish. Male osprey perched on flood lights. Two other ospreys seen flying above nesting site.
Nest is very large and well maintained. There is a female perched in the nest. Male osprey perched on nearby lamp post where it looks like there is a new nest forming. Male and female are calling back and forth to one another.

Male perched on nest. Parakeets building nest below osprey nest. 4 parakeets entered nest, hidden from view. Most likely no chicks, just hearing the hidden parakeets. Female flew around with an object, possibly a stick (not a fish). Unsure if it is stuck to her or simply odd behavior

Three starlings perched below nest, lots of chirping - cannot determine if it is the starlings or chicks. Another female was perched about 100m away.
Nest occupied. Female possibly chirping at male across field. Lots of chirping heard suggesting chicks, however crows sat below nest.

Nest is very large and well-maintained. Female osprey in the nest, male perched on a nearby light. Male and female appear to be calling to each other. Monk parakeets are living beneath the nest, 3 were visible.

Nest first observed 3/1/16. Numerous ospreys (4 or 5) seen in area. first 2 ospreys seen flying around and one osprey sitting in back nest possibly incubating. second opsrey landed and was sitting on side of nest. sexes unknown
