Observed a single osprey on the nearby communications tower. The alarm tower is deeply packed with twigs and branches, so the nest is being tended to. Took some photographs. Will post later this week.

I checked the nest this evening around 7 pm and saw no osprey on the next or the nearby communication tower. I remained about five minutes.

I noticed this nest the other day and came back this evening to document it. There was a single fledgling that flew out of the nest and alit on a tall microwave tower on the same muni property. The nest is on top of a cluster of at least five large speakers or horns. I parked in front of the locked gate to the recycling center, but I was too close for the nervous bird's comfort when I emerged from the car to check a street sign and take photos. The youngster perched on a cell tower panel for ten minute watching and waiting for me to leave.
