Description
This is at least the 5th year now for our cell tower neighbors. It is a joy to watch them, especially when they hunt for fish in the neighborhood retention ponds. I am also watching this nest and the birds have been coming back for a least 10 years.

Nesting Diaries

I have seen the adults bringing back sticks and one time some kind of rag. It was rather large and he had a hard time getting it back to the nest. I was taking a walk and he flew down from the tower very close to me and tried to break of a stick from a tree to take to the nest.
