no activity that I could see

no sign of activity but can't see into the nest

There is a new nest here but I didn't see any Ospreys today, but have seen them in the last couple of weeks working on the nest. There could be an incubating female not visible because of the structure.

this nest has pretty much fallen apart, but there was what appeared to be a male Osprey perched a few feet from the nest

No birds apparent at this nest today, although it is possible a hen sitting very low, not probable

This nest was abandoned a couple of years ago when a pair of Peregrines took over. It blew/washed away completely, but now a new pair is building a nest on the same spot. There are two other active nests less than a half mile away on either side of it.

Nest period 2013 has successfully produced 3 Osprey chics. As of July 29, 2013 they are still in the nest and not flying.

Last year I came across this nest and the one directly behind it, approximately 50 feet. I was able to see their young and last week, I found that they had arrived and were building their nest, as well as mating. The nest located behind it fell apart due to the hurricane, but they were seen to be rebuilding it, so maybe there will be another nest. On April 11, 2013, I witnessed them mating 4 different times throughout the day. Both the male and female went foraging for nest material, which does consist of some rope and other litter.
