Nest is located on top of abandoned wooden utility pole, not far off the road that leads to a rest area off Interstate 70. In addition to the Colorado River, there are several large ponds.

Coincidentally, this nest is almost directly across the lake from a pullout overlook that has an informational plaque about ospreys. This lake is stocked with fish regularly during the summer.

Nest located in dead pine tree on NE side of Walnut Canyon Lake. Established nest for many years.

Nest is located in the top of a very high cell tower located at north west end of Lower Lake Mary. Both Upper and Lower Mary are stocked with fish regularly during the summer months.

This nest is within sight of nest 2; it’s across the road to the east. Close to entrance to Ashurst Lake and visible from other side of lake due to elevation.

Nest is east of the lake, across Lake Mary Rd and upslope, but below the rocky bluff and plateau. There are two dead trees and nest is in the left one.

Although this is mountain country, the nest is within a preserved wetlands that includes several duck ponds. Three golf courses (with lakes) are nearby (within 5 miles). A small fishing lake (freshly stocked with trout) is 6 miles away.
