Hoping the young couple returns.

Jean F reports: While I do believe the young couple did have eggs on the nest there has not been any indication of chicks. I’ve stopped by most evenings over the past two months. Typically one of the pair is perched directly over the nest. I’ve seen them both catching fish. If there were fledglings they were pretty secretive about them! NOTE: We will list this nest as non-productive this season.

Jean F reports: 5/29 I observed one of the pair perched above the nest. Perhaps chicks soon.

Mary Alice T filling in for Jean F: Today, I checked on Jean F's Osprey nest located on Kingston Road. As I got out of car, I could see both mates sitting on different limbs where the nest is located. The lower Osprey is chowing down on a fish and it appears this is the male. The other Osprey was higher up (and closer to the nest) preening. I watched them for a while but they both sat relaxing in the shade. 3 Photos.

Jean F reports: We can confirm the female is incubating! NOTE: Mary Alice T will assist with this nest while Jean is away.

Jean F reports: After a week of lots of chatter and nest fluffing I have spotted an Osprey on the new nest. I’m also hearing lots of chatter. These two are pretty late nesters I guess - perhaps a young couple.

Jean F reports: There is a new nest in my neighbor's yard that I can easily see from my house. Joanne V took some photos of the nest. This nest was added to the project in early April 2023.
