new snag nest 2021, north side of Fred Hudson on a live loblolly pine, visible NW from the yellow bend sign in the road next to a snag, nest is actually on a broken portion of the trees large trunk and has some canopy above

very hard to get a chick count due to nest being so high in a live tree with alot of canopy around but clearly saw the fledgling this year

prior years the pair was across the road on various snags in the wetland woods but I observed tehm building this nest after the end of April wind storm broke a portion of this trees trunk, then the nest needed repair after the May 29, 30 storm,
