3/11 3:25-35pm - one standing in nest, another standing on the tree 100ft away.
3/13 3:20-30pm - she constantly soft chirping from nest
3/14 3:25-35pm - one standing in nest
3/15 3:30-40pm - Both standing in nest, then flying out same time, one flying back standing on the tree 10ft away, anther landing on the tree 200ft away
3/16 3:25-35pm - one standing on the tree 10ft away.
(3/12,17 - too wet/windy to kayak there).

3/7 3:25-35pm - both standing together on the tree across lagoon, then flying onto another tree closer to nest, then she flying into nest with soft chirping while he flying away.

3/5 2:35pm - One osprey standing on the branch right above the nest; Another flying circle / chasing 2 attacking ospreys away, then standing on the tree 100 feet away from the nest, then flying into the nest, almost same time 1st one jump into the nest, these TWO are in the nest together (make love?), chirping loudly
3/6 2:30pm - TWO ospreys flying into nest area, one landing/standing on the branch right to nest, another circling 3 times, then landing on the same branch; 1st one flying away, 2nd one following it
3/7 2:25pm - an osprey flying / landing on the tree 20 feet from the nest
3/8 1:50pm - an osprey is in the nest
Larry and Jin report: 6/19 2:35pm: an osprey standing on the neighbor tree left to the nest 100feet away
6/27 2:40pm: male & female standing on the different branches (one above another) of neighbor tree left to the nest 100feet away
For the other days, No activity seen. Therefore, we believe nest 8034 has been abandoned.

NOTE: Based on additional observations, we do think there is a nestling but he is not yet large enough to be seen. We will continue to monitor and adjust as needed.

5/29 3:15pm: male & female standing 10 feet apart on different branches of the tree left to the nest with back to the nest
5/30 3:00pm: male overlooking the nest on neighboring tree left to the nest
5/31 & 6/1 3:20pm: male standing on neighboring tree 100feet left to the nest
6/2 2:55pm: female flying into the nest, at same time male flying out from the nest

5/18 3:15pm: male overlooking the nest on the branch 2 trees away, above & left to the nest
NOTE: While it is difficult to be sure, the adult behavior of staying near but not always in the nest indicates there might be a nestling.

4/25 2:25pm: an osprey flying in the circle very high around the nest area, chirping loudly
4/26 2:57pm: an osprey standing on the branch above the nest with its back to the nest
4/27 3:00pm: one osprey standing on the branch above the nest, another one on the branch of the neighbor tree; suddenly 2 other ospreys flying into the area, immediately our 2 ospreys flying out / chasing them away, then they both circling back and standing together on the same branch of the nearby tree
4/28 2:30pm: one osprey standing on the branch 3 trees away from the left of nest, another one flying with a fish and landing on the branch at right of nest
4/29 2:35pm: an osprey standing on the branch below the nest on the right side

Based on this and other reports leading up to it, we estimate that incubation may be underway.

4/17 3:00pm: an osprey standing on the left branch above the nest, facing the nest
4/20 2:55pm: female carrying Spanish moss and flying 2 big circles above the nest, then standing in the nest
4/21 2:30pm: female sitting in the nest and chirping softly, male standing left tree branch with back to the nest

4/6 2:05pm: an osprey standing on the edge of the nest and facing the nest, and chirping softly (the big white machine is gone)
4/7 2:30pm: an osprey flying in the area and landing on the branch below the nest
4/8 2:20pm 2 ospreys chirping, one standing on the branch below the nest, another standing on the branch close by
4/12 3:05pm: an osprey standing on the closest neighbor tree branch below the nest, facing the lagoon
4/13 2:50pm: an osprey eating fish on the branch of the closest neighbor tree, facing the nest
Larry and Jin report: 4/5 3:10pm: one osprey standing on the tree across the lagoon from the nest & chirping loudly, another flying in circles high in the area
Jin and Larry report: 3/29 to 4/4: No activity is seen. we noticed 1 very big white street grinder that is parked right below the nest for over a week, it may scare them away.
Jin and Larry report: 3/28 2:45pm: an osprey standing on the tree across the lagoon from the nest, facing the nest
Jin and Larry observation: 2:30pm an osprey standing in the nest, then flying onto a branch and then flying in circles, then flying away.
Jin and Larry report: 3:00pm: the male flying then standing on the edge of the nest for a minute, then flying to a nearby branch. 5 min later, the female is seen flying across the nest, standing on another tree for about 5 min then makes a U-turn back to the nest.
Jin and Larry report: 2:30pm: an osprey flying across the nest and standing on the branch below the nest and chirping softly
