pair moved back to Dutch Drive for 2023 after this snag fell in early may storm
feeding behavior observed today
5-8, reports that the left side of nest collapsed somewhat after the high wind storm early May, 5-12 birds built nest up some and were incubating
report is the pair is still incubating
heavy winds storms over past few days cause the nest to break apart, some nest remaining, not yet certain if the eggs were lost
pair has chosen the snag nest this season and are incubating
male brought stick to female on nest, pair has been hopping back and forth from snag to platform
photos received today show male on nest with large nest built up, yay!

pair back at snag, what was their nest is only a few sticks left from last summer. we hope they will not rebuild on snag and choose the new platform!

called to end of Dutch Dr today to rescue one chick on ground, snag nest came down in yesterdays storm, there were 2 chicks but could only find one, transported to tristate, it could not be saved
