This osprey nest is located on the top of a traffic light pole on the southwest corner of Viera Blvd & Stadium Parkway......UPDATE - sadly it appears this nest did not make it - we are not sure what occurred - whether someone removed the nest materials

Sadly - it appears this nest was destroyed - not sure if it was removed by a person or if it was blown down - we did not see any materials on the ground under the nest :-(

3/26/12 We saw one Osprey on a light pole not very far from the nest and a second Osprey a little further away on another light pole

We saw one osprey pick up and carry some sticks to its nest as building material. It had some difficulty flying due to the size of the stick that it was carrying.
