Robin S reports: A neighbor sent me a photo of two osprey that was bringing nest material to the tree but I see no evidence of a nest. I don’t think the tree would be suitable for a nest. I will continue to monitor.

observer reports: This nest and osprey are such a quandary to me. I have been to the nest multiple times seeing absolutely nothing. Because the nest is in the middle of the golf course and close to a green I can’t stay long. I went yesterday expecting to see the same thing – nothing. When I approached the nest, there was nothing in the nest but I heard osprey so I stayed a little longer hoping to see the osprey fly in and wasn’t disappointed at all. I found an osprey with a fish coming close to the nest and right behind was another osprey with both landing in the nest. So often I see the male get the fish and share ½ with its mate once he has eaten but not this time. He ate for awhile then took off with the fish. I was no evidence of nestlings which was disappointing as I thought the osprey was sitting on eggs weeks ago due to her behavior. At a loss with this nest…I haven’t seen any nestlings this season and asked some golfers and they haven’t either. Both in this nest were mature osprey.

observer reports: Nest 7035 From what I can see, she is still sitting on eggs. She sits so low in the nest I can’t see her most times. I have witnessed Dad bringing food to the nest. When it was hotter a few days ago I saw Mom sit up to get some air and slowly sit back down.

Observer reports: I saw Mom Osprey fly into the nest today and Dad was in the nearby tree. Later I visited again and believe Mom was sitting on eggs.

observer reports: No activity at the nest but every time I go check there is an osprey on this tree close by the old nest. He may be from nest 7019 since it isn’t far away…not sure

observer reports: The nest has been totally empty which totally surprises me since I had seen so much activity a few weeks ago.
