Mary Ellen H reports: Arrived could not see anything in nest. Next an Osprey flew out of nest and landed in a pine tree not too far from nest. Remained there whole time I was at area.
Mary Ellen H reports: Today, I am not sure what is happening. I think the Osprey may be laying eggs? Zoom in and looks like an egg dropping.
NOTE: This may be what has happened but we will wait for incubation posture to confirm.
Mary Ellen H reports: Wednesday. Activity in and out of nest. Final pic the nest looks empty
Mary Ellen H reports: Saw second Osprey fly in while I was walking under nest. Turned around to take pic and the Osprey flew out. I was only able to take pic of Osprey in sky.
Mary Ellen H reports: Mary Ellen H observes: This week it does look like nesting material has been worked on.
Mary Ellen H reports no activity yet.
Mary Ellen H reports: I am officially an empty nester. Added photo of empty nest.
NOTE: Based on the latest report, it seems that both have successfully fledged.

Mary Ellen H reports: When I arrived I saw Osprey with fish on adjacent light pole. Osprey flew off but not to nest.
Later on I saw what appeared to be a young Osprey in nest. The head was quite a bit smaller than a mature Osprey. This Osprey flew out of nest and around area. The pictures show how small this Osprey is. It was being chased by a crow. After awhile both flew out of range. 5 photos added
NOTE: Based on the observations, we assume that one fledged by 6-17-22. That recorded date is our best guess.
Mary Ellen H reports: Chirping noises heard but no Osprey visible in nest. Osprey observed in pine tree near nest. Lots of flying around by this Osprey and another but no landing in nest.

Mary Ellen H reports: Some feeding activity observed and chirping noises too. Think two hatchlings.
NOTE: Based on the last few reports, we can confirm hatching has occurred. This nest is very high up on a light pole so it is difficult to tell yet how many nestlings there may be. We list 1, but will update as we can clearly see others. We cannot confirm the start of incubation, but believe it was very late March or the first few days of April. Feeding behavior indicates hatching occurred at least by May 8
Mary Ellen H reports: Chirping noises head. Feeding activity observed.
Mary Ellen H reports: Little activity. Heard chirping noises.
Saw bird fly out as soon as I arrived and was not quick enough to capture pic.

NOTE: The chirping MIGHT indicate chicks, but we will wait to confirm. Incubation most likely began sometime in late March since it seemed to be in progress in the late April observation.
