No nest built this season. Adult(s) were seen early but no nest was built.

Seems to be an attempt to build another nest this year.

Observed an adult near the location of where nest 5728 was located last season on 3/29. Observation today showed no nest building activity.

No indication of return after nest was lost last year to storm damage.

This nest had at least 1 chick. I believe the chick was removed from this nest like what happened at nest 307 last year.

After successful fledge, nest was lost to weather. This is the second nest to be "lost" in the last two seasons. Eager to see if they return to this location or select another close by.

This nest is actually the second attempt by this pair. Last years nest, their first attempt to nest, was not successful. This year's nest is sound and has one hatchling.

I found that a second nest has been built on the derelict pier pilings at the North King Street bridge onto Langley AFB. As I drove by, the adult was doing an egg roll. I don't know when the egg(s) were laid or even how long the nest has been there. I'm on the base every week and just never noticed it before...
