Nesting Diaries
Some twigs present but there isn't a structured nest. Male osprey perched on utility post next to nesting site, eating a fish.
No nest present. There is a pairing perched on the nesting site. Male osprey seen gathering material and bringing it back to the nesting site.
3 female osprey in nest feeding or picking at nest. Appear to be adults, but could be fledglings. One female flapped its wings wildly for a minute (further supporting that they may be fledglings). Male observed from a light post near nest.

Female in nest, male flew in and perched on side of nest. Later male was observed bringing a fish to the female.

Male originally perched on light post, then flew into nest. Female in nest with head down in the center (possibly eating or building nest). Male flew away, returned with a stick and then perched on light post again for several minutes.

1 osprey was nesting but I wasn't able to see how well defined the nest was or the gender because of the high angle.
1 Female was seen perched on the nearest light pole to the tower. The nest looks a little better defined.
1 male osprey was seen on the Parking Lot Nest #2 and a female was seen across the field on a light pole about 100m away. No change is observed in the nest.
No osprey were seen in the park however the nest appears to be forming well.
1 female was seen nesting on top of the osprey tower. No male was seen nearby this time. The nest appears the same as it did last week.
Both a male and a female osprey were seen perched on the tower. The female appeared to be nesting and acted defensively when another bird flew past.

Still no signs of nesting or nearby osprey.
No changes were observed. No osprey were sighted and no evidence of nest building.
Both the towers on this field appear abandoned or empty. There is very little evidence of nesting and no osprey were seen nearby.
