Heard, then saw George flying up to the nest and scouting the area.

Flying lessons! Saw both parents take turns flying one juvenile around the neighborhood! Due to the recent very cold weather - we are afraid this is the only egg/nestling that survived. there were probably two eggs to start.

Despite the cold and snow lately, we have chicks! Haven't seen the chicks yet (nest too high up) but the parents behavior has changed. More food arriving and mom not sitting in one position.

Nest much larger. Female staying close. Incubation activity!

The ospreys have returned to the Kachina Wetlands! We spotted the male and female working on rebuilding their nest (which had been blown down during the winter).
