Nesting Diaries

Unfortunately it appears this nest has failed. Observed the female bringing in sticks to the nest many times, and the male was building a "frustration nest" on a adjacent pole. In some of the pics you will see a 3rd pole with pylons and nesting material ... this was probably the original nest before an nesting platform was installed, but I have not observed any activity here. My camera would not focus for a couple of pics, but you get the gist.

First opportunity to observe this nest and found the pair in residence ... female incubating :)
