Almost impossible to tell what is occurring due to trees and leaves blocking our view. However, the two adult osprey continue to go in and out of the trees so it's very likely there are nestlings in there.
Female standing in nest. No feeding activity while watching the nest, but there must be chicks now.
All is going well. She is continuing to incubate and the male is in and out of the area, bringing branches, sitting in a tree nearby, bringing her a fish.
Definite incubating behaviors. Mama is hunkered down and sitting low in the nest. Looks like the egg/s have been laid because she's up every 45 minutes or so and appears to be rotating the egg/s.
The osprey pair continue to improve upon their existing nest. No incubating behaviors yet.
I noticed today around noon that there were two ospreys back to this nest. One osprey was sitting on the nest and the other was in a nearby tree. They were both eating. Looks as if the nesting pair has returned.
No adults or chicks seen.
Adult perched above nest. Assume chicks present.
Quick nest check while driving but didn't see any adults. Young could have been present but not visible from the road.
1 adult probably brooding
Adult perched on rim of nest. Likely chicks.
1 adult in nest. Possibly incubating. 2nd adult flying nearby.
