Description
San Joaquin Marsh and Wetlands. Near Irvine, California. I am happy to report that this pair successfully fledged two healthy Osprey chicks this season. They have been a joy to watch; learning to fish and survive.

Both adults are perching on the nest platform but are not bringing branches yet.

Permanent nesting pair. Last year (2011) both chicks died from lack of food. Observation were Dad did not provide enough.
