No adults on nest. An adult is perched in dead tree almost 100 yards from nest, but do not know if it is associated with nest. No chicks. Since no birds seen on nest in over a week - possible abandonment.

One chick observed with adult feeding it fish. After feeding, the adult nested - possibly with newborn (and more eggs) underneath.

Possible chick sighted, female sitting on edge of nest (approx. 37 day after start of incubation). Female feeding on nest, also looking down into nest, possible chick movement sighted in scope.

Male landed on nest with fish, called to female and she came to the nest. She took the fish off to a tree to eat.

Two chicks on nest.Adult brought food for feeding. They fed themselves. Third chick in nearby tree. Second adult in tree further away.

Saw all three chicks. At least two were flying off nest and returning. Maybe all three, but we lost track when one chick became hunkered down in the nest. Eventually, all three hunkered low in nest with call from the adults in nearby trees. No feeding.

Two chicks on nest, both flapping and getting good height above the nest in a driving rainstorm! Mom in nearby tree. Not sure if other chick has fledged, not observed nearby.

Three healthy chicks. Mother brings a fish, one feeds itself, mother feeds some to a second. No male in sight. Minimal wing flapping

Two osprey on nest; one was moving sticks within the nest; the same one would fly off for one minute returning with a stick; the other just remained at the nest and once flew off into a nearby tree.

12 March: Nest building still going on, with both ospreys snatching branches from trees while flying.

10 March: No ospreys sitting on nest, but one with half a fish in a nearby tree. Earlier, we saw a possible juvenile bald eagle chasing one of the ospreys. Bald eagles are also nesting in the area of our nest.
