Destroyed by PDQ construction in November 2017.

this nest is no longer there. PDQ completed construction late 2017/early 2018 and removed pole and established nest. See New News # 6982 - believe these same birds building new nest.

A pair of Ospreys have been nesting at the corner of the busy intersection of Seminole Blvd & Park Blvd in Seminole, Florida. Over the years, many ospreys have been killed or seriously injured by the passing traffic. The local Audubon Society is able to build a nesting platform across the street, near water & away from traffic but the cost of the truck rental, supplies & manpower is $1,500 per post & platform. I started a gofundme campaign to raise money for the nest relocation. This campaign, The Osprey Project, has currently raised $1,275 towards it's goal!
