Nesting Diaries

Found another promising osprey nesting site (attached Google map). It is on a communication tower next to Life Net. There was a breeding pair on this site last year but after season was over someone covered the tower with a huge blue tarp. They installed a new set of antennae, but the pair still came back this year. If you happen to be out this way, stop in and I can show them to you. There is still a pair on our crane but the nest has been pushed to one side, so not always easy to see from the ground.
