This is a stunted pine of some sort at the entrance to an apartment complex. The nest is quite shallow and the pair can be clearly seen by passing cars.
Nest sits atop a utility pole at the edge of the golf course. Power company has made two unsuccessful attempts to dislodge the pair but now seem resigned to leaving the birds alone! This has been a successful nest for many years, raising 2 or 3 young regularly.
This nest, which may already be listed by someone else, is atop a bald Norwegian pine where Carolona Way South meets Alcola Way South. It is very active at this time with two adults who appear to be feeding young.
This pair got a late start but the nest is very close to a significant roadway and the pair can be seen busily at work. We don't know just when they started; the nest was half-built when we discovered them. They are close enough to the road that you ca
