Located along the E. Frontage Road, west of the Steak House, N side of Interstate 90. Has been used by ospreys for multiple years. When geese occupy this nest, a nearby alternate nest (an abandoned utility pole with cross-arms) south of the interstate is generally used by the osprey pair.
Located along Hwy 97 surrounded by open fields at the top of the hill from Beauty Bay, Lake Coeur d'Alene. The site has been used for multiple years by ospreys.
Located on a platform on top of a hot pole in the Hank yard, Railroad Grade Rd, along the St. Joe River. Nest has been active for many years and was a source for translocating nestlings to South Dakota.
Nest is SW of the Gun Club, across Hwy 3 and the St. Joe River on a hot utility pole in flooded fields now referred to as Hebgen Lake. It has been active for multiple years, and was active in 2017.

Located on a cold pole across Hwy 3 from Eidnes Furs, adjacent to a boat launch on the St. Maries River. The nest has been here for >10 years and intermittently active (when geese aren't nesting in it). It was active, but failed in 2017. On 4/11/2018, an osprey was observed placing a stick on a nearby pole with a partial platform, as the original nest had a goose on it.
At the first mill site between Riverdale Drive and Milwaukee Road. Nest has been here multiple years. In 2017, geese were on the nest and the osprey pair nested on a nearby tall pole along Riverdale Drive with perches erected for winter eagle perching.
Between Hwy 3 and St. Joe River just west of St. Joe River Road and across from the city beach. This nest was originally built by the ospreys on an adjacent cottonwood snag that fell several years ago, dumping the nestling into the St. Joe River. The following year the pair built on the trunk of another cottonwood snag that had broken off. They produced 2 young in 2017.
Nest is on a round platform on a pole placed adjacent to Avista Utilities' power pole. The female from this nest was electrocuted several years ago. In 2017, the pair that had been nesting across the St. Joe River on a pole, moved to this nest.
Nest is located along the St. Joe River outside Saint Maries, Idaho, adjacent to the Potlatch Plywood Mill. It has been active and productive for multiple years on a platform erected on 1 of Avista Utilities power pole.
