Don City Island

Built on older pier piling. Note, this is the second nest on this site, this one is 30 or so yards south of the first one.

New nest located on the North East end of City Island on top of an abandoned "tiki hut" tree house set on a piling in Long Island Sound channel connecting to Eastchester Bay facing Orchard Beach in the Bronx. Following a request for input from the City Island community the suggested names "Siwanoy (f) and Harbor (m)" have been chosen. We have named the nest location IdleWild as it is on the in coming flight path of planes to JFK and LaGuardia Airports.
