This is not a new nest, but it has not been used for a few years with all of the construction that was going on. It appears to have attracted a pair this year.

We noticed an osprey bringing twigs to this area last week and checked on it today, just to see if it was still being built. There does appear to be a nest now.

This nest concerns us as it was unproductive last season. There is still some twigs left from the original spot for their nest and several left at the second spot. We are hoping for a return.

After starting nests on 3 different utility poles, 3 different times, a platform was finally put up for this pair and they are very active.

We just saw this nest platform in the newer section of the Mears Campus area. Obviously, it is unoccupied now, but their is a nest on the platform. So, I'm assuming it was used this past summer, 2021.

The tall utility tower was not working and someone built an osprey platform a few years ago, for this pair. I thought I had updated this info.

We don't watch this nest as often, just if we happen to be on the other end of town. We saw it last year for the first time.

This is a huge nest and I thought I had already added it. We've been watching it for a few years now.

This nest sits behind Millers Auto Upholstery and we believe it may be the pair that used to be near the Soroptimist Park nest that was blown down. Their nest was successful here last summer, 2019, with 2 chicks.

We first saw this platform toward the end of last season, 2014. There was one osprey in it for a short period of time.
