This is a tree at the edgeof/or in the James River, in First Colony on the James. The site is at the James River, 178 The Maine. I have seen this nest for 5-8 years. It was devastated with wind about a year and a half ago. This year, 2020, I received permission from the owners at 174 The Maine, to monitor the Osprey nest from their yard, where the nest is more visible than at 178 The Maine. The depth of the nest can't be seen, but nest activity is more visible.
