Nest location is on a light pole overlooking a basketball court. it is a large nest that appears old. This pair is active and is tolerant to be disturbed by basketball activity. But summer 2019 it was too disturbed and abandoned the next and unsuccessfully rebuilt atop chimney in brick building opposite the court. Please see notes 2019

Osprey nest platform on Stillwell Road near Mill Creek. This is behind the police station and across from Oozlefinch . this is an established nest site.

First observed pair on nest 03-12-13. May have been present since previous week. This pair has successfully nested here through 2018. The seem to be the first to arrive in the area. There is a nest cam here.

Osprey nest is on top of a communications tower at the Hilton Head Island office of Palmetto Electric Cooperative. The Co-op created a platform for the ospreys to nest. The platform is roughly 6.5' x 7' chain link fence with hardware cloth underneath. This nest has a web cam which is working for the 2020 season.

Third power pole on north side of Big Bend Rd just east of Balm Riverview. Across from Firm Foundation church. As of 02/16/20 pair has been regularly at nest, often with one (female?) down in bowl and barely visible. No sign of any activity in nest. Male? briefly landed on females back, flapped wings and quickly flew off. 02/15 photo added.

in the great marsh, behind my house...i noticed it a few months ago. It is behind Bayview farm and behind my Parker rd home, beside Bridge creek. Around 10:30 am, each morning, activity. with binoculars, i see osprey (at least one) in the nest....perhaps brooding ... a glorious sight in the golden hour. Even through the 60 - 70 mph winds two nights ago, the nest remains intact -- all natural-in a dead tree by bridge creek on the great marsh
