When you turn onto Paulson Road toward the Gray's Harbor NWR the nest is on a power pole on your left. (On the land side, away from the water.) it is about two thirds of the way from the turn onto Paulson Rd before you turn right to go to the airport/NWR. The nest had one fledgling in 2011.

Nest located on an old bridge that spans the Yellowstone River NW of Pompeys Pillar National Historic Sight. Bridge is not in use.

In 2011, the nest had 3 successful chicks. Unfortunately, fireworks killed the mother, who landed in the nest, on July 1/2 2011. The father, with help from other nearby Osprey raised all 3 chicks to maturity. Hoping nest is used in 2012. Google Amherstview Osprey for more details.

Nesting platform on wooden pole. This platform was placed in 2011 when a nest on a power pole approximately 40 m to the SE was destroyed during a road widening on Ardice.
