This nest is on the top cross member of the power pole built on the wooden cross member and ceramic insulators. The nest has been present for several years.

Nest is on the #3 channel marker at the mouth of Adams Creek on the Intracoastal waterway (south side of the Neuse River, across the Neuse from Oriental, NC.) On 3/16 there was an osprey that appeared to be incubating the nest - at least it stayed put when we went by in our boat.

Nest is on top of a Osprey Nest Platform at the East end of the Spence Grayson Bridge between Whitemarsh and Wilmington Islands. Two adults have been seen on the nest as of around the date of 3/15/12.

The osprey nest is located above a dish on a tall radio/ antenna tower. The tower is about half a mile from and is visible from Frank W. Spencer Boat Ramp Park off of Islands Expressway in Savannah, GA. Two adult Ospreys were seen at 5:30pm on 3/19/12. I first began to see an osprey building the nest on 2/17/12.

After geese took over the nesting platform nearby the Osprey built a nest on the baseball field lights and have produced chicks for two years.

When you turn onto Paulson Road toward the Gray's Harbor NWR the nest is on a power pole on your left. (On the land side, away from the water.) it is about two thirds of the way from the turn onto Paulson Rd before you turn right to go to the airport/NWR. The nest had one fledgling in 2011.

Nest located on an old bridge that spans the Yellowstone River NW of Pompeys Pillar National Historic Sight. Bridge is not in use.

In 2011, the nest had 3 successful chicks. Unfortunately, fireworks killed the mother, who landed in the nest, on July 1/2 2011. The father, with help from other nearby Osprey raised all 3 chicks to maturity. Hoping nest is used in 2012. Google Amherstview Osprey for more details.
