Male was observed bringing in stick and doing some nestorations. Female is staying perched right next to nest-did not leave-even when 4 crows came to watch her. There is constant crow noise and activity around this nest and its neighboring nest(2/10 mile away). I believe crows may be nesting in a tree about 75 feet away from osprey nest. I can partially see a nest but only could hears crows.
Pair was on and off nest. Male was eating a big flounder(?) on top of a close telephone pole. Female kept calling to him to bring it to nest. Nest is getting bigger. No eggs yet.
Observed pair on nest and mating on nest on 4/4. On two trips back (4/5 & 4/7) have seen both on nest and bringing branches to nest. Saw dad doing nestorations on 4/7 then went flying with mom.
