I have named this nesting pair Mr. and Mrs. Gale. The Gales have a nearby blackbird friend that hangs out at their nest with them. Mr. Gale can be seen nightly between 8 and 10 pm chilling on a dead branch in a nearby long leaf pine after dark. Mrs. Gale is leaving the nest less and less frequently. I believe she may be close to laying.
