A few squatters have been seen perched on the range light over the past few weeks. Probably nearby young from other nests.

Nest vacant every time I drive by. I did see an osprey on the range light. Maybe a young from a nearby nest resting.

This nest is very close to a UD nest right across the street that is occupied and appears successful. Great that the habitat supports such nest density. I suspect hatching occurred within the week. I can't see inside the nest, but adult behavior is similar to UD-3 which I observe from my office window each day.
