Nickname: Oyster Reef hole #17
Nest substrate: Dead Tree
Nest Location Description: The nest is located on Oyster Reef Golf Course in Hilton Head Plantation on hole #17. It is in a dead tree on the right hand side 3/4 way down the fairway across the lagoon. It’s close to the lagoon by 5 Crepe Myrtle. Once you see it, you realize it’s fairly open to see with or without binoculars.

Sandy P reports: 2 adults sitting on tree near the nest. No one in the nest. This was about 7;30 and it was. Lightly raining. I think if there were chicks, moma would be sitting on them for shelter ?...
