Nickname: Sunset Ridge Subdivision entrance
Nest substrate: Live Tree
Nest Location Description: Across the street (next to the "river" - actually part of the Indian River Lagoon) from the entrance to the Sunset Ridge Estates. The nest is so well hidden I would never have spotted it except one adult was perched in the next tree, calling.

No bird visible (difficult to see top of nest).

Found a different viewpoint. Though most of the visible nest was gone, the part that was sheltered by the tree branches held a brooding osprey, while another sat on a nearby limb and ate a fish.

Unfortunately, after two days of 30+MPH winds, most of the nest seems to be gone. No birds except crows in sight.

On bird on nest in incubating posture, one bird in next tree, perched and calling (the only way I spotted the nest!).
