Looking forward to seeing Harvey and Florence return and prepare for their 2019 family!

I believe this nest is a duplicate of nest #6700. I placed this nesting platform along with a friend in April 2017 and monitored it for DE F&W for the 2017 and 2018 season. The nest is seeing some nest hopping osprey along with resident eagles but the resident pair has not yet arrived.

The three chicks are vigorous and fledging. Florence and Harvey are very attentive to their young and to each other. They bring a variety of fish from the bay and ocean, including large flounder!

Florence & Harvey appear to be caring very well for their three young chicks, Warren, Catch, & DQ (three local Fenwick Island restaurants young Trimble family members work at this summer). It was very hot for days after the chicks hatched, and here you see Dad Harvey tending to the chicks as Mom Florence cools off nearby.
