All 3 hatchlings continue to thrive and are learning to hunt for their own food. They still comeback to the nest nightly but enjoy there new freedom of flying.

Harriet and Jack now have 3 eggs. So happy that the drama of almost loosing her on Easter did not impact her ability to produce eggs.

04/05/2018 by KimNAlan
notice two eggs in the nest today upload great picture of the two eggs and Jack and Harriet

04/02/2018 by KimNAlan
The Easter Bunny made a deposit in Harriet and Jack's nest today. So exciting especially after yesterday scary event. They are covering up egg with what looks to be some black paper and Harriett is already laying her breast on it to keep it warm.

Today is Easter Sunday and this morning started of with a rescue of Harriet that had taken some fishing twine into the nest for nesting material and she became wrapped into it. As you can see she could not free herself so we were force to assist. I have video of the rescue and it is like she knew we were there to lend aide. My husband was able to free her freely and remove all the twine in the nest. Turned to be a very happy day that we were here to lend a hand. Both Jack and Harriet have returned even mated and fished so we are hoping stress of event has passed. Hopefully event doesn’t impact her egg laying which should occur soon.
