Nesting Diaries

This nesting pair fledged 3 chicks in 2014 and 2015, also, according to Roy Bires (who has observed the nest more frequently than me).

This nest has been active since 2014. In 2016 our pair of ospreys fledged 4 chicks - quite unusual! In 2017, brooding behavior was first observed on 4/15, so we could expect hatching around 5/25.

I added a photo shot by Dana Nesiti. He wrote: Caught the Osprey mating this evening. The male then went and caught a fish and ate on the light tower behind the nest.
