very little out of the normal these two are hanging close to the nest, I only saw them mating one time this year and I think she is tending to the eggs.

03/29/2018 by cliffiv
light breeze, sunny, 68 to 72 deg, both male and female were seen on the nest area ( Channel Marker tower) and are working on rebuilding the nest as nearly all of the Material was blown off this winter. both both look healthy.

03/19/2018 by cliffiv
Say one of the birds in the area for the first time this season, believe it was the male, the bird was fledged from the pole as I slowed to take a better look, no nest activity yet, weather was cool around 48 deg expecting a Nor Easter to blow in mid day on Teusday, starting to become overcast.

07/14/2017 by cliffiv

Mid 80's, breezy, 10% overcast, high visibility, Both birds, on the tower, it looked like the female was maintaining her plumage as the male war feeding at least on chick, I could not make out if it was more the that.
