Rainy and foggy today. I was surprised on my second visit to see the jetty completely underwater at high tide. That puts this nest very close to the waters edge if thete were a storm. I did observe a definate two chicks today.Appeared to be feeding time. Isn't it always?

I visited this nest today. I am always amazed to find a nest smack in the middle of a public area. This is a very active beach. Public dock and swimming is just to the right of the nest, approx. 75-100 ft.

I believe this nest has 2 chicks. Will try to visit again when the beach crowd is smaller.
