Nest was started last year but never finished!
This nest never developed into a completed nest. I observed the Male and Female taking twigs to the nest site and arranging them but after that day they have never returned to complete it. I have seen the Male close by fishing the ponds but that's it. Possible something happened to the Female?? Don't know.
On May 17, 2014 I observed two Osprey flying the tree line beside the new Kellam High school. One of the birds was carrying a large stick. I decide to chech it out to see if they were going to a platform that has been provided over by the football field. To my surprise they stopped at a light pole by the baseball field where they had already started a new nest. The male arranged the stick and flew off with the female behind him.
