Nest Location Description: One of Nova Scotia’s newest Provincial Parks, McNabs Island is located at the entrance to Halifax Harbour, and this nest can be found on the beach at Wreck Cove, popular among boaters. It’s neighbour – Lawlor Island – has a remarkable concentration of nesting osprey [Blake Maybank: “Birding Sites of Nova Scotia” (2005), p. 15] … and public access is restricted.
