young birds had been observed flying off with older ones. still see 1 or 2 on the nesting platform

Yesterday observed male returning with a large branch. He placed it in the nest and flew off. Today observed him coming back with something and settling inside the nest with the female.

both adults were seen on this nest. One was perched and the other was deep inside the nest, head visible

After several days of heavy rain, sun is out. Temperature rising. Both adults were seen on the nest with outspread wings. One flew off while the other settled back into the nest. CAn hear the one that flew off calling. Observed a young adult in a tree nearby, unsure if this one belongs to this nest.

about 2PM observed female moving about on the nest and settling back down. difficult to see her as the nest is high. another osprey flew past and called out, osprey in nest 4702 called back to the one in air

at 4:45 PM drizzly overcast about 67 degrees. observed both male and female sitting next to each other on the nest.

At 1:00 PM drizzly day. cool, about 67 degrees. Can just barely see female's head in the nest.

this nest was the 3rd in a short line, between 2 other nests. The nest began on a utility pole. the nest materials started a fire and FPL came out to put a new nesting platform above the wires.
