This nest tends to have nesting materials falling out of one side. Female was observed yesterday moving nesting materials around and branches and sticks were hanging out. Today I observed that the female was settled deeply in the nest and there wasn't any extras hanging over the side. There was a pile of sticks on the ground at the base of the pole beneath the nest.

this was the second nesting site on the road. The nesting pair built on a utility pole. The over hanging branches caused a fire on 4/01/07 destroying the nest and chicks. A second nest was started and also arced the wires. FPL was called and they placed a nesting platform above the wires.
