The two fledglings are out and about but return to the nest

05/24/2019 by Peglucas
Finally got a look at a second chick! There is a Mockingbird that must have a nest nearby that keeps dive bombing the ospreys.

05/22/2019 by Peglucas
I have only been able to see one chick in nest.

05/06/2019 by Peglucas
Chicks can not be seen yet but behavior of parents indicate that they are present in nest

03/21/2019 by Peglucas
No possible to see eggs in nest but one of the pair is always on the nest now in a position that would suggest start of incubation

03/16/2019 by Peglucas
Female is spending sometime inside of the nest but does not appear to be incubating eggs as of yet.

08/30/2018 by Peglucas
Have not seen a bird on the nest for several days now.

One of the fledged birds is still hanging around the nest.

I received a text reporting one of the chicks was setting in a driveway near the nest on 06/29/18. This is the first time one was seen outside the nest. He flew back up to the nest a short time latter. In the last week both chicks have been gone from the nest but return at some point.

05/14/2018 by Peglucas
While the hatchlings have not been seen, it seems certain from the behavior of the parents that the eggs have hatched.
