female and chick (about the size of a softball) preening. Female vocalizing as well. Both sitting toward the edge of the nest. Male sitting on a pole under the nest.
female in nest, rearranging sticks and flapping wings as she moved around (almost as if she was trying to keep her balance or not trample her chicks) with lots of downward head movements. male standing on nearby pole
Osprey visible in nest (n/a gender) before hunkering down in the nest. Multiple male osprey seen in the area but unsure which nest they belong to. Squirrel was seen coming in an out of holes on bottom of platform and going into bottom of nest
2 males circling overhead and vocalizing. Top of head seen in the nest; could have been top of incubating female's head or a chick's head. Head was small and was only able to catch glimpses of it; possible chick?
Male circling overhead and female in nest, frequently vocalizing. Told by resident that a "little one" has been seen peeking over the side of nest. Did not see any evidence of a chick.
No action again at this nest, there was an osprey far into the distance but not close enough to be interacting with the nest. The nest is still is good condition.
