On July 12 I received a call saying that one of the Osprey chicks was out of the nest at the waters edge. I was able to capture the Osprey easily. It has a bare spot on the back of its head where its sibling likely pecked all the feathers out. I took the chick to Pearl Beamer who treated and will keep for a few days to be sure no infection occurs.
