Observations made spasmodically only when we happened to travel in that direction hence the lack of specific data. We are amazed that the operators of the dam have allowed nesting for two seasons!

We came across this nest on a Sunday afternoon drive ,in a area we travel maybe twice a year and happened to notice this nest. Therefor we have no details other than we saw activity late in life of the fledgling.I was surprized to see that the Dam Dept allowed the nest to be used to full term.
