On school flood lights behind building (drive around). two possible nests. first on flood light right behind school, second on flood lights on baseball field across bridge and further back behind school/marine lab.
Female in nest with chicks, male perched on light post nearby. 2 rogue osprey (male and female) flying around area. Lots of chirping from nest 4452 and neighbor nest 6110.
Nest nearest school had 1 osprey land on nest. female osprey seen sitting on other flood lights. second osprey sitting on light further away.several ospreys (4or5) in area/on nest further back. other nest possibly new nest.
Large nest in flood lights on back field. Difficult to get good visual of nest/inside nest. 1 large female osprey sitting on electricity pole away from nest eating a whole fish. Decent size nest nearer osprey but kind of falling down. It is not clear which nest is active/ if both are acive
Decently maintained nest in flood light being building/school. 2 ospreys; 1 female, one unconfirmed sex. Another osprey in distance (male) on lights but no nest .
Good nest, male osprey flying overhead, four LARGE non-ospreys (possibly buzzards?) perched on poles surrounding the nest, one got chased away by the osprey while we were there
-good nest (but plastic bag caught in it)
-non-osprey perched on pole
-female osprey on pole next door
-male nearby
-another female in parking lot on other side of building
- 2 more circling overhead
1 osprey was seen on the lightpole at the far side of the field 100m away. Another osprey was seen on a light pole on the nearest field about 150m away. The nest appears to be in good condition.
Two different osprey were seen perched on different light poles on the adjacent sports fields but none were observed near the nest. Both osprey were around 200-300m away. The nest still looks like it is in disrepair.
